Please email your proposal or idea to - pingthepit@saddledhq.com

We are thrilled that you are interested in contributing to Saddled. At our core, we live for stories that stir something deep, journeys that aren't just about reaching the destination, but about everything felt along the way. Through evocative writing, stunning visuals, and cinematic glimpses of the world, we aim to create a space where adventure feels alive. Whether you're chasing your next big ride or simply soaking in the spirit of others who've dared to wander, Saddled is your campfire. Stories here aren't just told, they're felt. So grab a brew, get comfortable, and get ready to dive into the kind of tales that stay with you long after the engine cools.

What Kind of Proposal Is Saddled Looking For ?

We're always on the lookout for real, raw, and remarkable stories from every corner of the world. That's what fuels this community, people chasing the unknown and finding something unforgettable along the way. If you've lived (or heard of) an adventure that deserves the spotlight, don't keep it to yourself. Send it our way. We're not after trip checklists or touristy recaps. We want stories with heart, grit, and a fresh take on what it means to explore. The kind that moves people, makes them think, or simply reminds them why they ride. Let's inspire more journeys. Yours might be the one that sparks the next.

How Should an Idea be Proposed ?

Please do not send us manuscripts unless we ask. If you have already completed the adventure you want to tell us about, please email pingthepit@saddledhq.com with:

What Does Saddled Look For in Writing Style ?

At Saddled, we're not bound by style. We care about stories that grip, excite, and above all, inspire. A sense of adventure should pulse through every piece, whether it's quiet introspection on a mountain pass or chaos in the middle of nowhere. We're drawn to compelling characters, vivid moments, and the kind of details that bring a journey to life. We encourage you to explore the tone, voice, and recent stories featured on Saddled to avoid overlap and understand the feel we're going for. Articles typically range from 500 to 2,000 words, but we're open to pieces outside that bracket if the story calls for it. Rather than covering an entire expedition end-to-end, we love stories that zoom in. A single turning point, a raw emotional beat, or a strange, unforgettable detour. These focused slices often resonate the most. We read every submission with care, but as a small team, we appreciate your patience. It may take us up to two months to respond, but know that your story matters, and we're excited to hear it.

A Note on Generative AI

We request that stories are written in their entirety by a human writer, and images must be the result of a photographic process using a camera although tasteful editing using an image editor such as Lightroom or Photoshop is, of course, allowed and encouraged. Although some writers and photographers now make use of generative AI tools, we ask that submissions do not make use of these tools in any way. This includes platforms such as ChatGPT as well as generative AI tools built into operating systems and word processors, including Copilot, 'Help me write' in Google Docs, and Writing Tools on Apple devices. If you are not a confident or experienced writer, or if English is not your first language, don't worry we'll work with you to create a story you can be proud of!

Polite Request

We pour a great deal of passion and effort, alongside our incredible contributors, into curating the most powerful stories from the world of motorcycling. That's why we kindly ask other websites and publications not to reproduce or republish our content without prior, written permission. All stories edited and published by Saddled are protected works. Any reposting, duplication, or use of our content in part or full is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized. If you'd like to share a piece, please link directly to the original story and give proper credit to Saddled as the source. Let's keep storytelling honest, respectful, and rooted in the spirit of the journey.
